You fought vigorously against some very strong competitors and managed to impress some of the best chefs in the world. I watched all 15 episodes of the contest, I would have bet my last penny she would be eliminated after the 3rd round, her presentation was very poor street food but she improved each week. for those who are not aware, she is a graduate, beauty packed with brain, her spoken English is music to the ears clear, simple without accent. She made all Mauritians and her country proud. She's on her way to making millions. well done Salina, many congratulations, all good wishes and every success in your career.

Shelina is in fact british as she was born and brought up in the united kingdom!.....she however has strong Mauritian connections as her parents are originally from Mauritius.....she has raised the profile of our island and this will be good indeed for our tourist industry......

I watched the whole series including the final and in that she and her mother admitted that she was interesting in catering at a very young age but her parents didnt agree, so how could you say she fell in love with cooking at the age of 26...i suggest you verify your information and maybe watch the final...you shall find the answer.

Many mauritians possess dual citizenship but they are not aware that Mauritius does not allow dual citizenship in most cases.Many of us who were bound to renounce our mauritian citizenship by upontaking a western citizenship, have been trying to resump our mauritian citizenship but it was not so easy because according the constitutiuon of Mauritius you have to renounce your foreign citizenship first before you can resump your mauritian citizenship even though your were born in Mauritius.Congratulation Shelina.
