I would be most grateful if you could kindly publish my feelings of disappointment below regarding the MBCTV. In fact I have emailed them same but they have so far failed to respond to my criticism.

What a farce since MBCTV has moved to Moka! All that hyped and self-promoting advertisement to show their mettle as professional broadcaster turned out to be an abysmal failure to deliver the goods in spite of the millions Rupees investment and in-service training with supposedly cutting-edge technology! In fact it felt more like scoring an own goal to be honest! What an amateurish show it turned out to be don’t think one can trust them drive even an ox-cart, never mind twiddling the knobs on the control panel properly!!!

Might be teething problems for them, but cringing to watch such faux-pas night after night! Well, things could not have gone worst than that or could they? Who exactly monitor their performance nowadays? Wonder if ever they do receive any feedback as how jumbled-up has been their news bulletin during this last week!

Basic operations which you expect professional technicians/engineers to be familiar with went all pear-shaped. Tonight was the final straw that broke the camel’s back! It was a nightmare to watch such dreadful output, for example disjointed editing, regular mixed-up of related video clips, loss of vision and even poor sound synchronization kept cropping up regularly which altogether affected continuity of the programme! Probably there existed no  cohesive timing also between the floor manager and newsreader! It was obviously blatant to see how the newsreader was confused whilst reading from the auto-cue board at times and I won’t be surprised if they were dreading the next news items coming up!!! No smooth operator here and no slick performance with the expected high standard neither which MBCTV has been promising the viewers over the past few weeks prior to their move.

Hope whomsoever responsible at MBCTV will take on board those constructive criticisms positively and will endeavour their best to redress matters in the shortest delay possible. As for me, I earnestly look forward to watch the news on-line next, either live or as archived webcast, with a much improved performance and uninterrupted flow by and large.
