Since a few days, inhabitants of Tamarin are alarmed to see birds falling dead from trees all around. A process that was meant to eliminate pigeons has resulted in the horrific death of several species of birds in the area. Residents are worried that  this may also affect some of the endangered species. The manager of Belle Crique resort who hired the services of Griemex Ltd for this process, assures us that the latter  has been requested  to remove all the sedatives from the roofs of the resort complex. Martine, a resident, collected as many as 20 birds on Thursday morning, and has also got an autopsy carried out at a veterinary clinic. The report confirms that the birds died of poisoning. Martine also plans to send the sample to a lab to identify the type of poisonous chemical used.
