| Ce médecin de l’hôpital Candos a été arrêté par la CID de Quatre Bornes, dans l’après-midi du 30 août.
Il est soupçonné d’être l’auteur d’attouchements sexuels sur deux patientes qui étaient venues se faire soigner dans cet hôpital.
La première victime, qui a porté plainte, est âgée de 29 ans et la seconde est une mineure de 16 ans. Dans leurs dépositions, les deux victimes allèguent que le médecin de 57 ans leur a caressé les parties intimes alors qu’il les auscultait. Une enquête est en cours.

From my Mauritian friends, I gather that not only the professionals, like doctors and lawyers, tend to protect each other, but communal favouritism in law courts are rife as well.
Please tell me that it is not true, and that if it exists, it is only a swallow at a wrong season.
