No winning formula can save MMM except injecting new blood in the vein of MMM party. Forget 2010......... MMM must prepare its team for 2015. | Si nou fer ene ti analyse bien simpliste pou conne veritab poids MSM dan sa election. Calcul la bien bien simple: Ashock Jugnauth elu sous la baniere MMM/MSM ene 2005 avec +/- 16 000 votes. En 2009 Ashock Jugnauth gagne +/- 12500 votes. Li cler couma l'eau de roche ki sa 3500 votes difference la c'est electorat MSM...Ala ki MSM vaut sur l'echikiet politik!!!

Why did VOH, AVC and such had to be involved in this election? What "issues" did they bring to the table if not the supposed threat posed by Berenger?
Even though the MMM was wrong to support A.J, it is clear that people voted for communal reasons and not of the "soi-disant" honor that had to be preserved. Anil Gayan is right to press ahead with his charges of corruption against Pravin. |

The statements and reasons he mentioned explaining the failure of their candidate are somewhat lame and ridicule. Im no way fan of MMM nor MSM, but i only agree on one thing, what a bizarre democracy we have in Mauritius...one cannot just accept their fate (Im not being partisan whatsoever)..if we look at the US elections, when McCain lost, he immediately acknowledged Obama, here we are very far behind.
