Chaque semaine qui passe charrie son lot de détritus à l’Assemblée nationale. Beaucoup a été dit et écrit sur la pitoyable remarque de Soodhun adressée à Bhagwan.
Exceptées deux petites questions : que doivent ressentir les femmes de sa propre famille et pourquoi les députées MSM ont estimé urgent de ne pas réagir pour défendre leur dignité ?
Autre nouveauté, la déclaration de guerre de Nita Deerpalsing et son acharnement à avoir des réponses claires et précises à ses questions. A priori, cela force l’admiration. Car voilà une backbencher qui prend son rôle au sérieux et qui, d’une certaine façon, montre à ses collègues du MMM comment des élus doivent assumer leurs responsabilités. D’une certaine façon, à cet égard, elle fait penser à Paul Bérenger à l’époque où ce dernier faisait trembler les ministres en face de lui.
Mais vu les capacités des parlementaires à se montrer tordus, on se demande s’il ne faut pas prendre les sorties de Deerpalsing avec un grain de sel. Les plus perplexes d’entre nous évoqueront un désir de montrer qu’elle est ministrable.
Tentons une argumentation moins simpliste, d’autant plus qu’une ministre se retrouve liée à une solidarité gouvernementale. Dont elle ne veut pas. Et dont Navin Ramgoolam ne veut pas non plus.
Explicitons : il y a quelques années, avec la pluie de mesures économiques impopulaires du gouvernement de l’Alliance de l’avenir, beaucoup prédisaient que Ali Mansoor serait le fusible idéal à l’approche des élections générales. D’autant plus que Rama Sithanen était trop proche du Premier ministre.
Excepté que le sphinx Ramgoolam laisse courir les choses, abattant sa carte maîtresse au moment voulu. Et là, on peut se demander si l’agressivité de Deerpalsing à l’égard de Sithanen n’était pas une indication des mauvaises choses à venir pour ce dernier. Souvenons-nous que deux ans avant la chute de Sithanen, elle disait à l’adresse de ce dernier que quand Ramgoolam (le lion) rugit, les autres (animaux) se tiennent à carreau.
Nita la sniper ne tire pas à la légère. Elle n’est pas un électron libre. N’importe qui à la place de Pravind Jugnauth se méfierait. Ramgoolam est sphinx, lion, mais surtout un éminent calculateur, doublé d’un cynique qui laisse pantois.
La preuve : sa remarque concernant les débats parlementaires retransmis à la télé. Mardi dernier le Premier ministre avait évoqué d’éventuelles allégations qui pourraient porter atteinte à des personnes absentes du Parlement.
Cela à peine trois semaines après avoir instillé le doute à propos de la responsabilité de Harish Boodhoo à propos de l’incendie de deux véhicules chez lui…
