| Good job by Mr. Pillay! But still internet is overpriced by about 800% in Mauritius. 10Mb is GBP 13/month (Rs 585) and Mb 50 is Rs about 1100 in UK. 1Mb is Rs about 800 in Mauritius!! Mb 100 in France by Orange is about Euro 33/month (Rs 1200 approx.). Mobile calls price are rip-off with no package like in Europe (eg. GBP 30/month for 800 cross-network minutes & 200 sms). Only if Bharat Telecom brings MT down to earth, only then we can pay a fitting tribute to Mr. Pillay! |
