The DDP has ordered the reopening of Harry Tirvengadum’s case. Did you have anything to do with this?
No. I had planned to send a letter to the DPP and I phoned him beforehand to request an indication as to the procedure I should follow. He said, “I am ahead of you. I have decided to refer the case to the police for enquiry.” I think that pressure from the media played a part in the decision to reopen this case.
