Depuis sa création, il y a quatre jours, WANTED : 15,000 Youngsters to Save OUR Future a regroupé quelques 6 000 jeunes.

It is good that young people have decided to raise their concerns and make themselves heard because there are many issues that need to be addressed and some pressing ones like shortage of water in this day and age, security on the Island, etc. etc. Hope the demo is peaceful. I would also like to remind young people of what John Kennedy said' "Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country." Therefore, please become involved in politics and run for office..new blood is much needed as it has been the same old same old for too long. Wish you all luck.

Let Place d'Armes' gathering be a showcase of something more tangible and bold where the protagonists have and must go all over the country to spread the genuine ideologies behind this movement. And please, PLEASE, don't let any contracdictory, opportunistic and moreover political forces recover your action in anyway to spoil it. I'll pray for SAVE OUR FUTURE to be a ponderous movement and not only a bland starter. Our youth needs guidance, support and adequate forum to express themselves to avoid a "kind of" London rioting and looting.

Is our future not secured in Mauritius ? There is no such country in the world which is safer than our Paradise Island. The group "[WANTED : 15,000 Youngsters to Save OUR Future!]" is just a sham of a cheer-leader to enter politics from the back-door. RIP to that pseudo leader, where RIP means "Rest in Phantasm" !

By now, everybody has surely heard of the Wanted 15,000 youth to save our future... noise from facebook and dreaming something magical will happen soon (the Obama yes we can), but this group has nothing to sell to the nave and immature youth who does not even know what an economy is except some dreams, some noises, some excitements and worse, to create and sell a fake image of our Paradise Island as an unstable and insecure, politically and socially speaking.

The title itself is a big lie. Is our future not secured in Mauritius ? There is no such country in the world which is safer than our Paradise Island. The group "[WANTED : 15,000 Youngsters to Save OUR Future!]" is just a big sham of a some cheer-leader to enter politics in a disgusting way. RIP to that pseudo leader, where RIP means "Rest in Phantasm" ! The intelligent class call parents to keep their kids at home on that day and do not give credit to disturbing our beloved Nation.

Creating a false image, giving a bad name to Mauritius and marketing it so gross to foreign media by fueling nave and immature kids for their X reasons that any sensible man can clearly see, is the work of some enemies of the Nation who spit in the plate they eat.

Joseph E. Stiglitz is University Professor at Columbia University and a Nobel laureate in Economics
described Mauritius as follows :

Suppose someone were to describe a small country that provided free education through university for all of its citizens, transportation for school children, and free health care including heart surgery for all. You might suspect that such a country is either phenomenally rich or on the fast track to fiscal crisis.
After all, rich countries in Europe have increasingly found that they cannot pay for university education, and are asking young people and their families to bear the costs. For its part, the United States has never attempted to give free college for all, and it took a bitter battle just to ensure that Americas poor get access to health care a guarantee that the Republican Party is now working hard to repeal, claiming that the country cannot afford it.
But Mauritius, a small island nation off the east coast of Africa, is neither particularly rich nor on its way to budgetary ruin. Nonetheless, it has spent the last decades successfully building a diverse economy, a democratic political system, and a strong social safety net. Many countries, not least the US, could learn from its experience.
In a recent visit to this tropical archipelago of 1.3 million people, I had a chance to see some of the leaps Mauritius has taken accomplishments that can seem bewildering in light of the debate in the US and elsewhere. Consider home ownership: while American conservatives say that the governments attempt to extend home ownership to 70% of the US population was responsible for the financial meltdown, 87% of Mauritians own their own homes without fueling a housing bubble.

And the naive youth put their trust in a cheer-leader who burns book of people whom he does not like/agree with, will save their future

What a description of the cheer-leader. I only know the guy is a professional photographer. If Jameel is part of something bigger as you suggest, what would be the solution for our youth? What needs to be done to foster a new mindset? I would like to refer you back to the diplomatic notes of U.S. Ambassador Ceasar Cabrera. We're obviously living in Paradise, Paradi en Dey indeed.

We invite you to join our facebook group page Wanted: 15000 youngsters.. You will find there our manifest and important documents, our main concerns focused around three focal points: an end to communalism, an end to corruption, and an end to dirty politics!

Mahindra you can't rely on stating you're against such practices and so on. Everybody is against what you mentioned and may agree on " Les Trois Actions simples de Javed Bolah ", you definitely need to have some relevant demands based on a clear and concise program staking out claims to challenge the political class. What is the purpose of having, lets say 10 000 youth, a successful gathering at Place d'Armes where every speaker will more or less sum up the same speech around communalism, corruption and dirty politics. I've got one meaningful question; How long this movement has been thoughtfully nurtured before ending in what we know as SAVE OUR FUTURE and WANTED : 15,000 Youngsters to Save OUR Future!??? I NOW DOUBT. I don't need an answer, just be honest to yourself.
